Youth Employability Initiative 2018/2019

‘The Department of Children and Youth Affairs (DCYA) has secured funding from the Dormant Accounts Fund for a Youth Employability Initiative. The Initiative will provide once off grants to voluntary services and organisations, particularly youth organisations.

The Initiative aims to increase young people’s employability by enhancing their personal and social competencies and increasing their preparedness for progression towards employment.

The goal is to target the Initiative towards hard to reach young people between the ages of 16 and 24 (with a particular emphasis on the 16-18 cohort) who are not engaged in employment, education, or training. Flexibility will be provided to selected projects to develop programmes to cater for this particular cohort.

Application is by means of an Application Form.
