Mar a Déarfá! An Focal Scríofa don Chainteoir Dúchais Gaeilge

April 9, 2018

Seoladh leagan Chonnacht de Mar a Déarfá!, clár cuimsitheach, mionghrádaithe litearthachta don chainteoir dúchais Gaeilge ar an Aoine, 9 Márta 2018. Is é PríomhChigire na Roinne Oideachais & Scileanna, An Dr. Harold Hislop, a sheol an áis nua. Breacadh, comhthionscadal de chuid na mBord Oideachais & Oiliúna sna réigiúin Ghaeltachta, a chruthaigh Mar a Déarfá!
Cruthaíodh an clár don fhoghlaimeoir fásta, ach tá sé feiliúnach le húsáid ag chuile leibhéal scoile, le feabhas a chur ar chruinneas scríofa agus líofacht léitheoireachta an chainteora dhúchais Gaeilge – agus go deimhin, daltaí Gaelscoile.
Tá Mar a Déarfá! tiomnaithe do Sheosamh Mac Donncha, nach maireann, a raibh dlúthbhaint aige leis an saothar a chur chun cinn agus é mar Phríomhfheidhmeannach ar Choiste Gairmoideachais Chontae na Gaillimhe agus ina dhiaidh sin ar Bhord Oideachais & Oiliúna Mhaigh Eo, Shligigh & Liatroma. Maireann lorg a láimhe!

The Connacht version of Mar a Déarfá!, a structured, graded, comprehensive literacy programme for native speakers, was lauched on Friday, 9 March 2018, by Dr Harold Hislop, Chief Inspector at DES. Breacadh, a cross-Gaeltacht project of the Education & Training Boards in the Gaeltacht counties, created and published the resource.
The programme was devised for the adult learner, but is also suitable for use in primary and secondary schools, for the development of reading fluency and written accuracy amongst native speakers of Irish – and indeed Gaelscoil students.
Mar a Déarfá! is dedicated to the late Seosamh Mac Donncha, who greatly influenced the work during his time as CEO of Galway VEC and subsequently as CEO at MSLETB. Maireann lorg a láimhe!
