Kevin Hough will represent Ireland at the World Skills Competition in Abu Dhabi in October 2017. Kevin will follow on the footsteps of GRETB Electrical Apprentice, Martin Tully who represented Ireland at the 2015 World Skills in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

 Kevin Hough is 22 and from Navan Co Meath. He attends Dundalk IT.   He competed and won the National Skills Competition – Electrical Installation in December 2016. He is now training for the World Skills in Abu Dhabi in October 2017 where he will have the honor of representing Ireland in the Electrical Installation Competition. He will be up against 35 other nations including Japan, Vietnam, Belgium, China, Korea and hosts Saudi Arabia.

Historically Ireland have exceed at these ‘World Skills Olympics’ and already John Finnegan, GRETB Senior Electrical Instructor is preparing apprentices for the Nationals in December 2017.
