Through our website, social media and the guidance service GRETB provides information to the public about our education and training programmes and related activities. We also promote our courses on the Further Education and Training Course Hub (FETCH) and Qualifax, the national learners’ database. Currently dissemination of information is managed at programme level.
GRETB does not currently have a Communications Policy. However we recently established a Marketing Strategy Group to promote our courses and inform the public about or education and training activities. In our Strategic Statement and Quality Improvement Plan we have committed to enhancing our internal and external communications systems. A Communications Policy would inform this work. Therefore Corporate Services and the QA Department will need to liaise on the policy development.
